turntables by Mag-Lev shows a record being played on a levitating turntable

Remembering vinyl

OK, I am really going to show my age here with vinyl; however, there is nothing better.  I remember listening to my favorite artists, playing my favorite songs on my portable turntables with scratch noises and having to stomp my foot on the floor to stop the skipping.  Those were the days!  Remember having to put a penny on the needle?  Whether it be 33.3’s, 45’s or 78’s there is no better sound than vinyl.

Well, I guess the younger generation finally caught on. Introducing Maglev Audio turntables, not the turntable I grew up with, Maglev Audio, visually enhances the experience of listening to vinyl records by levitating the platter. By joining our love for music with careful integration of technology and high-range audio components, we’ve created a luxury turntable of the future for the medium of the past. It actually illuminates.

I was recently feeling nostalgic and went shopping for some old records I must say I was shocked at the prices.  My very first concert was Bad Company so I thought it would be nice to have some albums so my family would know what Rock n Roll should really sound like.  I remember paying $10 for their Run with the Pack album back in 1978, now that album costs $55 (used).
