Stalker Kit Cars

Stalker Kit Cars lets you construct your own high-performance automobile:

Looking to fulfill your need for speed, but also long for a versatile kit car that is just as at home on the public roadways as it is on the track? Well look no further—the four models offered by Stalker Kit Cars are everything you’ve always wanted in a kit car. Stalker Kit Cars take one of the most sought-after Lotus 7 kit concepts to the next level by including special additions designed for modern drivetrains and the latest suspension and chassis engineering technologies. The design pays homage to some of the greatest automobiles of the past without appearing dated. Combine this with a high build quality that’s almost unheard of in the kit car world, and you’ve got a top-grade, high-performance vehicle for a fraction of the cost of most exotics. With the wide array of build kits that Stalker Kit Cars provides, you’ll be able to find a balance between performance and affordability when building your next Stalker.

M-Spec

The Stalker M-Spec is the result of building, driving, and owning Stalkers for many years. Envisioned by Stalker Kit Cars’ new owner, Scott Minehart, the Stalker M-Spec features an all new designed chassis with double wishbone suspension and inboard push rod shocks, front and rear. The body has been restyled with a modern and aerodynamic approach, but still maintains the essence of the original Stalker. Weighing in at around 1600 pounds, the Stalker M-Spec houses power plants ranging from 200hp V6’s to 525hp V8’s, and is perfect for any level of desired performance.

Stalker XL

The Stalker XL is the big brother of the Stalker Family. The XL shares the same suspension design as its siblings but in a larger proportion. The passenger compartment is 4″ wider to accommodate larger upholstered seats, as well as more space around the pedals. It also holds large 315/30/18 tires in the rear, bringing the overall width out to 76″, 10″ wider than the M-spec or Classic R. To keep things in proportion, the Stalker XL’s frame was lengthened in the front, thereby extending the wheel base 10″ forward, bringing it to 105″ wheelbase. The larger engine compartment in the Stalker XL now has room for forward facing intakes on the LS V8 and even an A/C compressor. The XL is bigger, more comfortable, and offers increased stability at high speeds.

Classic R

The Stalker Classic R has been re-engineered by the company’s new owner, Scott Minehart, but it still maintains Dennis Brunton’s original design. As a result, the Classic R now combines the high demand for the updated suspension and chassis with the traditional “7” style we all know and love. The classic styled body combined with modern structure underneath take the car back and forth through time. The Classic R perfectly intertwines a vintage sports car design with today’s drive quality possibilities. Weighing in at around 1600 pounds, the Classic R houses power plants ranging from 200hp V6’s to 525hp+ aluminum V8’s, perfect for any level of desired performance.

AXR

The Stalker AXR is the result of autocrossing Stalkers for many years. The AXR is designed and engineered to accommodate wider tires in the rear with a decreased track width, and features an all new designed chassis with double wishbone suspension and inboard push rod shocks, front and rear. Weighing in at around 1600 pounds, the Stalker AXR houses power plants ranging from 200hp V6’s to 525hp V8’s, perfect for any level of desired performance.

You simply cannot match the performance of a Stalker. 0-60mph times range from 2.4 to 4 seconds and 0-100mph times are being clocked in under 5 seconds. The Stalker will leave you breathless almost every time you ride. But speed is only part of the equation; the turning capabilities of Stalker Kit Cars are unsurpassed. The steering is quick and precise allowing you to pick, choose, and fine tune your perfect apex. The rear end is stable and tamed, on and off the throttle. This combination gives you a car that not only pulls high G forces, but is controllable and forgiving on the edge of traction. When not cruising around the streets of your home town, you will see Stalkers on the podium in Autocross, Time Trial events, and passing race prepped exotics at weekend track days. There’s a Stalker Kit Car for every budget, as prices range from $11,400 to $47,390. Fulfill your need for speed with a versatile Stalker Kit Car today.
