It is also one-third the density of steel, which allows it to float more easily because it weighs less. At the same time, aluminum is stronger than plastic or polyurethane, which is important for users who regularly push their vehicles to the limit in difficult environments.

On land, a Hydratrek machine can reach speeds of up to 15 mph. In the water, the top speed is 4 mph or 3.4 knots.
